Max without a computer

February 23, 2012 | 2:40 pm

Hi, I’m new to Max and have a question. Is it possible to create a patch that can run without a computer? More specifically, if I wanted to program a chip to run a Max patch that could then be integrated onto a circuit board, is that possible?

Thanks!

It is not possible.

I think is possible but you have to write/port an Os in to the chip to run the patch. the current Os that maxmsp runs are proprietary . at the bottomline will be a very expensive project.

Possible but undoable, check the arduino for standalone devices or if it’s only music check pd-anywhere.
