i’m new to all the max-stuff. i just wanted to work with the tutorials to get in touch with all the new information. so. now i opened the tutorial 2 bang! from the max5 basic tutorials. when i push any buttons nothing shows up at the print-object. why is this not working? the tutorial says there shoud stand something.

ableton is opened the whole time (background). i’m running ableton 8.1.1 & max 5.1.1 on os x 10.5.8.

any ideas?

Or you can open it from the Window dropdown from the main menu.
