Maximum width for png file in jit.qt.movie

This must be documented, but I’m not finding it. Help is appreciated.

I’m trying to load a 10035-pixel wide png into a jit.qt.movie. The png is a 360 degree shot, and my intention is to pan it left and right. I’m getting an error when I try to load an image above about 5000 pixels.

Two questions:
1. What is the maximum width of a png file I can load?
2. Is there a better way to handle loading a file this large, for eventual display in a jit.window?

Thanks in advance.

Solved this by rereading Jitter tutorial 14 and a few posted emails. Can load a matrix of up to 8000 pixels sq before error on my MacBook Pro…will vary depending on graphic chips/card.
