I'm interested in discussing ideas to further develop some max patches specifically designed for controlling (or being controlled) by the Tenori-On (TNR).

A recent firmware update released by Yamaha has made it possible for the TNR to send and receive sysex messages which control the LED matrix and trigger the sound for that layer. This is a small but significant update as unlike the Monome, TNR is not an open-source device.

A few initial experimental patches have shown some promise in controlling the TNR in new and different ways than was possible before. If anyone is interested and would like to share patches and ideas, please add to this thread.
