For the first time, cnmat will be offering a Max/MSP/Jitter workshop for developers. Please see the website for more information and registration.

First time offered! Learn the basic principles of Max object development and design.
April 27 to May 1, 2009
10 am to 12 noon (12-1 lunch break), 1 pm to 3 pm
Limited to 20 participants
workshop fee: $450

cnmat’s Max/MSP/Jitter workshop offers a supportive, hands-on environment for you to learn the basics of writing Max C externals and sharpening your skills. This practical course covers the basics and also provides time for deeper explorations of specialized topics according to your interests. We’ll share our experience with externals (cnmat developed some of the earliest externals such as multislider, sinusoids~), plus we will cover the special libraries and tools we use at cnmat to maintain and develop our extensive MMJ depot.

I sooooo wish I could come. Really bad timing at the end of semester. Is there any way someone can video these classes and either sell them or put them online?

I agree, I would love to able to learn more but can not afford to
fly out to California for these things. Surely there is a way
these classes can be recorded or streamed. I would pay for that…

I also hope you will be willing to make recordings available. I am attended the Expo but cannot take enough time from work to also attend the class.
