Max/msp new comer

November 4, 2006 | 9:20 am

Hi everybody! I am new in Max/msp. I keep reading the tutorials and work with the tutorial patches. It’s realy fascinating.
I was wondering if there are any on-line free lessons or guidlines for me to study. Thanks!!!

Actually there is none – I plan to write some for new Max users next year, but havent got time till then, however, if you have any questions, or suggestions of what you’d like to see in a tutorial, I will answer them (and will help me know what to put in). If you really need something to get you going with Max (it wont help with Msp or Jitter as it preceeds them somewhat)there is a rather Pink book by Todd winkler

that gave me a great idea of the basics behind getting to know Max.

Finally online- though far less well documented you can look at some patches by Snot Wong

Most of all the tutorials are your best bet, but as I said, send me a list of questions, and it’ll be helping me as much as you! So if you wanna know Ask

Hope this helps

Tristram
