MaxMSP to Absynth – Windows

Hi all I wrote a program where Im trying to send data out from Max into Absynth on my windows box. I can not figure out what I have to do get the programs to talk to one another.

I have tried using midiout, bendout, everything but I cannot figure out what I need to do. Im using a SoundBlaster Live! card

The following inputs I have are SB Live! MIDI UART, and MPU-401

The outputs I have are both SB Live but come in an A and B outputs, as well as the UART and MPU options as well

If anyone can help me out or if need more info, I’ll be glad for anything.

Thanks, NeoSpawn

not sure how you are planning to do it, but using absynth as a
plug-in in max is super easy – with the object vst~

as many ins/outs as absynth can support (that’s 3 ins, 8 outs i
guess) and you can access all controls

Oks I’ve finally figured out how to use the vst~ object into Absynth. Thanks a lot for your help. Just im trying to figure out how to do a few things like send multiple midievent message so I play mutiple notes and how to bend the pitch of it. Im guessing for the multiple midievents I would have to have muliple midievent messages? Is that right?
