size works ok here, no problems whatsoever.

set visible makes problems:

If visible is set to 0, window disappears, except that it leaves a small
white square, the size of toggle box. If I hit anything in any menu, Max
quits or sometimes hangs. But If I have another patch opened, max does not
quit or hang, other patches seems to work ok.
If I try to make it visible again, using keyboard, window frame appears
briefly, empty(white bkg), correct size, but disapears after a second or so.
If I close other patches, try to make win visible again, and click on file
menu(or any other), max quits.

this was on windows xp sp2, max 457, jdk1.5.0_03.
