I have created a patch with its own menubar and a fullscreen function,

does anyone know how i can make the menubar dropdown when i hover the cursor to the top (Mac),

I don't think that is possible in fullscreen mode, sorry.

You could use a normal umenu or jit.cellblock instead of the menubar, but only if you are in fullscreen. Only make it visible when hovering over it...
