Hi, I have been using a metronome connected to counter to create a visual on-screen clock for performance and to time the triggering of events during a performance.

Recently, my metro object (armed with a 1000ms input) started sending bangs that were much longer than a one second interval. At times, I cut the input to 250ms and it would output a bang equal to 1 second in the real world. Other times, I would have to switch to 500ms to receive a real world 1 second bang.

I run Max5 on Windows XP with good memory and a decent CPU speed. I have also used MAX5 on this OS for a couple yaars and never had this problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

I can't imagine that metro by itself would behave like that. There may be something else going wrong.

If you post the patch we could have a look.
