I don't get it : I read this on C74's site : 'Max for Live Limitations

Any limitations imposed by a Live authorization will not exist when Max is fully authorized (or when it is in demo mode). In other words, your fully authorized copy of Max is never limited by launching the application via Live.'

I own a full license for max 5 and 6 but the jitter windows and pwindows are crippled. I started By buying MFL then crossgraded to buy Max, is that the reason why ?

i bought M4L and then crossed over to MAX - not had any issues with this that I can recall

In my case things are a little different, but i also know the problem:

My Max license is on an iLok + I have a M4L license. In my case I first have to start Max and then M4L to get full access to those features. May it works in your case too.
