Just out of curiosity, why not just make an
abstraction or – since you want something
visual – write a jsui slider? It’s not like
this is something that everybody is clamoring
for [and I say this as someone who's worked
outside of Equal Temperament for quite a lot
of my Maxing life - except for the recent c74
disc, which is one of the only things I'd done
in 12ET for perhaps a decade, with the exception
of those free improv gigs where everyone else
is in ET, of course]….

I clamored for this when nslider was released, to no avail. I understand that MaxMSP is not oriented towards notation, now, and move to something like PWGL when I need that support:
