Midi Graphic Editor

I’m really just shaking the tree here to see if anyone can recommend a good graphic midi editing object, if one exists. A related question: Does detonate handle pitchbend data, and if so, how?

Not sure about externals but if you’re on a PC try using energy XT as a vst plugin or on a mac you might be able to make the sequencer bidule VST work

I’m thinking the most amazing MIDI editor could be made with jit.gl.gridshape and jit.gl.sketch, or even LCD, but it would be a ton of work. Maybe a good summer project if I was independently wealthy… ha!

Imagine the possibilities with GL though… zooming is already built-in… store your notes in a matrixset or matrixctrl… with lots of added features like “fill every 4 beats”, “invert beats”, copy and paste between tracks… pattrstorage… fantastic!

Hello,

if you have MAX 5 & JITTER you can have a look here : (a big “summer exercise project”) .

It seems work fine just for mac (keys problem with windows).
