Hi - I am using the Eobody 3 with Max 6 and Ableton 8.3.4 on OSX 10.8.

I cannot get my sensor data (coming in as Midi on CC1 and CC2) to show up in Max using the "ctrlin"or "midiin" objects. But the interface does show up in the pop up menu connected to "midiinfo."

I know my interface and sensors are working because I can midimap them in Live and play away with parameter automation.... so I'm baffled.

I'm wondering if this could be an issue with Max 6 and OSX 10.8? Has anyone else had a similar problem ? I followed the MIDIBasics tutorial about 10 times so I believe I am set up correctly but if anyway has a sense of how I might be screwing this up, I'd so appreciate it.

I did get some numbers flashing out of "ctrilin" for a moment when I first set everything up in Max but then....nothing and no error messages in the Max window.

Any ideas at all would be so helpful. Thank you so much.

Hi thanks so much, I'm really just working off the patch in the tutorial for MidiBasics called (01iMIDIBasics) which allows me to select my interface when doubling clicking but then does not show data. Well, not consistently.... Honestly, it just starting working for a few minutes again only to stop!

Anyway here is my particular patch in case that makes more sense. I have highlighted the section with a blue panel on the right. Thank you so much for any ideas at all.

OK - I am an idiot. You have to grab your sensors to initialize them! I tugged on them out of frustration....and in come the numbers. I think that is the key to this issue.

In case anyone else has this problem with Eobody as it is not in the instructions....tug on your sensors!
