I have managed to successfully connect mira to my max patches (on my MacBook pro) using my internet wifi network (via a wireless router). However, when I try to connect via an adhoc network, Mira recognises my laptop and tries to connect but it never gets past the "connecting" phase.

So ipad and laptop are both connected to the adhoc network, and Mira is connected to the adhoc network, and it finds my laptop in the devices panel but it can't seem to connect to the device. When I try over the internet I connect no problem.

Any suggestions or advice would be so much appreciated. I have a gig coming up and really don't want to rely on the venue's wireless network.
