modulation with spectrum

January 13, 2008 | 5:28 pm

what is the best way for using, for example, a drum loop as a modulation source for fm synth.
i was thinking about peakamp, taking the values for modulation of
the fm synth, but there must be a better way to do that. maybee with a spectrum analyzer, but i dont have any idea how to realize that.somebody can give me a hint? the idea is to get the same shape of the loop with the fm synth.
