Morphing Cellular Automata Spectral Filter

November 8, 2012 | 12:52 pm

A fun little spectral filter which selects frequency bins based on active cells in a one-dimensional cellular automata. The CA generations morph using the neat [jit.slide] which works like a dream.
Only issue at the moment is figuring the timings of the @slide_up/down arguments and working out some better windowing/sample-rate settings to give a nicer overall sound (bigger bin bandwidths vs. smaller ones?)
