Not sure how easy it’d be to stream the Mp3 – but to play one- all you need to is import it to buffer~ and play it through groove~ or play~

If your file is more than 30s, forget importing into buffer~ , or go
have a coffee while… Ask Ali Momeini for mp3 streaming, he made a
major working java lib for this.

Further unto: apparently buffer~ feels obliged to read/parse/
interpret an MPEG file in its entire length before importing even a
short segment.

Question cum feature request: If this is indeed the case, is it
necessary? And, would it be possible for a future version of buffer~
to cut straight to the desired section of the MPEG file and convert
just the amount requested? At least if the import starts at 0ms?

Hopefully,
Peter
