multiple alpha channels possible?

November 25, 2008 | 4:29 pm

Is there anyway to get a single image with more than 4 planes (alpha, r, g, b) into Jitter?

I’m trying to open a Photoshop image with multiple alpha channels – thought that perhaps I could use importmovie to get it into a jit.matrix with the appropriate number of planes – but it ignores the additional channels.

I think we have 32 planes max.

Image files opened via QT in Jitter are limited to 4 channels. You
will either need to use multiple images and concatenate them with
jit.pack (or similar), or you will need to export photoshop file to
something like a comma or tap delimited text file and import with
jit.fprint.
