I made a sequencer patch and rendered as a pluggo .dll for use in ableton live on a PC. One instance of the plugin works fine, however, when I have more than one the clock speed doubles for them so the sequencer is going twice as fast through it’s steps.
Anyone else had a problem like this?

cheers,

Without seeing your patch, it’s impossible to tell what sorts of things you
may be engaging in. However, it’s good to remember that Max’s data space
is global – so, if you’ve got, say, send and receives in one patch, that’d be
a bad idea. To keep things like those destinations separate, you’ll need to
precede the names by three dashes. This is described in the Pluggo
Developer’s Guide in greater detail – Tutorial 9, I think.

In any case, you will always get better answers to your questions by asking
them in a more specific manner – What platform, what version of Max, what
version of Live, and including a sample patch. Without that stuff, we’re all
just guessing.
on the page there’s a detailed drawing/and on the drawing is the name I took

Thanks for the reply! The problem was definitely due to send/receive objects not being restricted to the single instance.

I need to read the pluggo dev guide more throughly…

cheers,
