i try to create several plugz (all derived from a single max patch)
to use at the same time in Live 5, i changed the unique IDs, it
works, but it seems that the ‘send’ and ‘receive’ functions are
shared between the plugz in Live.
Example : in my plug #1 i use ‘send meslenght’ to send a float value
inside my patch, if my plugz #2 use a ‘send meslenght’ it seems to
receive values from plug #1 !
More, the content of a buffer~ is shared too !
anyone know this feature ? (which could be useful by the way)
For what you’re doing, you may need to add "—"in your object name.
For example :
"send —try" / "receive —try" and "buffer~ —test"
you must think of the pluggo runtime as _one runtime -
which is why it is called the pluggo runtime.
wherever you do not want to share unique names,
make them really unique, for example by including the
name of the plug-in or digits.
a buffer called "wave" or "bass" is always a little risk ;)
This is intended, if you want to avoid that, use the #0- notation.
