multiple [serial] used simultaneously

Hi all

would anyone know if it’s possible to use multiple [serial] (at least 2) simultaneously on the same computer.

More precisely, is it possible to use 2 (bluesmirf) BT devices on the same computer.

I’m using the arduino lilypad w. a bluesmirf to transmit data to the serial object.

Now ,after testing, I know that my 2 bluesmirf with unique seperate Id’s are recognized individually with 2 [serial] objects.< -their green light turn on. BUT I DON'T SEEM TO BE GETTING ANY DATA FROM THEM.

So my real question would be; has this do to with multiple [serial]< -(not possible)? or is it multiple Bluesmirf on 1 computer <-(not possible)?

Thanks a lot in advance for any insight.

Hi

If anyone is interested, the answer is yes.
You can multiple BT (bluesmirf) running on your os x BT.

And -Yes you can have multiple [serial] in the same patch, fetching data from different BT devices.

Just make sure that you’ve installed them correctly in BT system preference.

Hope this helps anybody ;)

Well, I’m happy I didn’t have to test it myself. Thanks for the
information.

Yes, any self answered question is helpful for those who are stuck in
the same way. I will remember it, if I come across it maybe in the future…
