My goal is to use a number of smartphones as indvidual mics / loudspeakers for maxmsp. A goal is having up till 16 smartphones, both ios and android based. I have 2 scenarios, I'm working on:

1) Using Skype (or similar); using the smartphones as ... phones, 'calling' a Skype account on the computer, where the 'call' is routed into maxmsp (via soundflower for example), and sending a 'call' back the same way. PROBLEM: how do I route more than one Skype call inside the computer?

2) Using web. Live streaming sound from maxmsp to a server to which the smartphone is directed in it's browser through a customized URL. Problem: How do I go the other way? How do I stream FROM the Smartphon back to the computer?

Here are some possiblities, that I know work, but they only solve part of the problem:

- IP Webcam, an app for android, allows to stream audio (and image) from the smartphone to a url. Routing is simple from a website (how about multiple urls?)

- Control (app for android AND ios) allows you to stream pitch and vol analysis over osc (open sound control)

- OSCdroid (only android) allows you to send info about blow and volume in the mic.
