hey, serious noob here! (dont be too harsh!)

anyway! does anyone know of a way of allowing a 'picslider' have multiple knobs?

Im designing a quadraphonic "x/y spacial panner" so to speak, and i want to be able to allow individual control of 4 separate channels using a single control interface.

(p.s. i am fully aware that quadraphonic systems suck! lol))

you can select the pictslider background to be transparent

you could then make 4 different coloured buttons, or numbers for the speakers? then use the keyboard '1,2,3,4' to bring each corresponding object to the front

it would be nice to have an object like this though 

is there any way of moving through the layers? tried that already, but couldn't figure out how to bring them to the front each time!

I made exactly this kind of patch using js and LCD

There's an example here that would be very easy to update for 4 controls

You might find my "nodes" object useful for this. This is a simple UI object that gives you up to 9 x/y/size controls. It was designed for doing spatial parameter interpolation, but I could imagine it to also be useful for positioning sounds in spatialization systems.
