multislider resize

Is there a way to resize the multislider object?

I’m resizing matrixctrl objects with ‘script size matrix1 $1 $2′ but it doesn’t seem to work on multisliders.

Also, is there a way to set the number of sliders with an object, scripting?

edit: Ignore the first question. I think I had a typo somewhere in my script. However I’m still interested into setting the number of sliders with a script.

this ‘script size matrix1 $1 $2′ message to the [thispatcher] works fine for me
send ‘size $1′ to the [multislider] to set the number of sliders or send a list of values as shown
in the helpfile.

if you want to change ALL multisliders in the root level,
at the same time, and to the SAME values, try

"multiSlider message value" – [universal 0]

iit is often the quickest way to change color or size of
a handful of elements.

note that object names are case sensisite to [universal]
(at least on OS 9) so you have to type "multiSlider" or
"GSwitch"
