Music Books give-away

hi all

My life is heading in a different direction, and so I have some books
I no longer need. These would probably be most useful to a university
or college, so if there’s any Profs on the list…
You’ll need to pick them up from me in Watford; or at a pinch if
you’re close to Euston station I could drop them off. Here’s the list
(all or nothing!)…

Winkler – Composing Interactive Music
Rowe – Machine Musicianship
Wishart – On Sonic Art
Kahn – Noise Water Meat
Cook – music, Cognition, and Computerised Sound
Modern Recording Techniques 3rd Edition
Tomatis – The Conscious Ear
Helmholtz – On the sensations of tone
Chion – Audio-Vision
Hill & Paris – Guerilla Performance and Multimedia
Skinner – Underscore
Rona – Synchronisation from Reel to Reel
Turkel – Arranging Techniques for Synthesists.

Just wondering which direction, maybe one I haven’t tried yet?

My old computer and books have found new homes. Thanks to everyone
who replied!

It’s the “finding a way to make a living ’cause I spent so long
playing with max that the world slipped by and now I’m broke”
direction. I’m a kind of nlp/hypnotherapist sound engineer at the
moment, with the occasional bit of maxing when I can find the time! I
believe it’s called a portfolio career.

Hi david,

I’m a student at Lancaster University. Are the books still available? I
live in Watford and one of my tutors has asked if we can have the books.

I’ll be back in watford from the 7th/8th of April,

Kind regards,

Andrew Nicols

Ah yes, the reality of life. But that does not
mean you should stop your Max endeavors. It just
means you need to balance your time more.
