I have a mxj class that generates noise. I have tried to use it together with the sketch using the command drawmatrix. The idea is rather simple, take a 12-plane float32 matrix and draw it with sketch

public class MultipleNoise extends MaxObject

declareOutlets(new int[]{DataTypes.ALL});

dim1=new JitterMatrix("dimen",4,"char",10,100);

noiss.matrixcalc(null,dim1); // this is what generates noise!

outlet(0,"jit_matrix",new Atom[]{Atom.newAtom(dim1.getName())});

and modified the noise attributes. The compilation had no problem. However, I noticed that every time i tried to use the matrix, the previous attributes stayed: 4-plane char.

I needed to change the variable that contains the matrix and the name of the matrix in order to make it work:

dim2=new JitterMatrix("lll",12,"float32",10,10);

How is mxj managing the allocation of matrices. Is it possible to use matrices that have been previously compiled in other classes?, why did the fpsgui keep giving me the previous attributes of the matrix?
