mxj net.tcp.send and extended ASCII

August 31, 2013 | 3:08 pm

hey there!
another day, another odd thing… I am sending an extended ASCII-String with Values<127. And net.tcp.send does not seem to like this one bit. Anything over 127 gets replaced either by 65533, 63 or in some rare occurences another value over 127. Now that I am kind of depending on sending those values, any help would be more than welcome. Maybe anyone knows of another method or object of sending those string via tcp? best, jost

the issues above 127 are pointing towards a problem with an 8bit value I assume?

I will try the tcpClient by Arvid Tomayko tomorrow, maybe that can solve this peculiar issue.
