Mysql object – bundle vs folder

January 29, 2006 | 10:44 pm

hi

I replied to an old post and i guess the new system put it in the old
2005 forum.

the mysql object at http://www.publicbeta.cx/max/mysql.sit and is
not a bundle, but a folder. Ive attempted to fix the offending
info.plist file, which should do the trick, but I do not know the
proper "CFBundlePackageType" for the extension ‘.mxo’ for OS X to
read it as a proper bundle.

Any help?

got it. there is no Pkginfo file within the ./Contents folder

put a Pkginfo file with contents : iLaX????

and then do an Install from the Max/MSP menu, relaunch Max, it works.

just FYI for .mxo external makers :)

Hi,
I cannot follow your instructions for this fix
the change of the Pkginfo-File didnt help
Working on Max 509 and Leo 10.5.6
Do you have any idea?
Because putting the file with
iLaX????
didnt help.

I downloaded the file form the link above.

Thanks in advance
Jo
