						<p>Is there a way to name a buffer with the unique (&#8212;) argument, ala m4l?  I&#8217;m trying to rebuild ipoke~ in gen~, but this is going to cause me problems&#8230;..</p>
<p>edit::nevermind, I figured it out.  I made a premature post.  The first arg to gen~ buffer is the internal name, but you can reference the external buffer via the second argument which accepts &#8212; without a problem.</p>
