Native C Art-Net Objects – BETA VERSION

March 9, 2012 | 12:45 am

Here is the initial beta version of my native-C Art-Net objects, for transmitting and receiving Art-Net DMX data in Max.

There’s a few features still to add, but I’d appreciate some testing feedback from people using different hardware. Please don’t use these objects for high-risk stuff like performances yet (unless you’re really desperate). Any features suggestions or changes are welcome.

OS X only at the moment, but eventually there will be a Windows version, I just haven’t set up a development environment for building objects in Windows yet.

Feedback to david@theimpersonalstereo.com (or post here).

The version on the site is an old java-based solution. This new object is entirely C-coded, but I haven’t made a Windows port of it yet.
