Hi,

I’ve a simple question about analyze sound in msp with pitch` object from Tristan Jehan. What i’m trying to do is just get sound from microphone into max program. Firstly, I use Fast-track USB-Audio Interface(M-Audio) with my power mac G5. Secondly, I use condense microphone(XLR input) plug it into my Audio-Interface.

I can hear the sound from microphone via my speaker. The problem is

i didn’t get a signal from microphone in Max/msp. I try to check by use a meter` object to check a signal but nothing happen. Bytheway,
I hear the sound from mic via speaker. I don’t know what i did wrong? Hope that anybody can help.

Thanks,

Check your settings in the m-audio control panel routing – the signal
may be patched to the outputs and not connected to the software
inputs.

System Preferences -> M-Audio Fast-track -> routing or patchbay or
something like that.

Hope this helps.
