net.multi.send / recv not working between os x 10.5.7 and XP

Hi,

I like to set up a multicast network between several pc’s and a mac. Using the help file of ‘mxj net.multi.recv’ and ‘mxj net.multi.send’ this works fine between the pc’s but the mac is not getting anything, nor can it send anything to the multicast address… Is there any special treatment needed to get this working?
All computers are connected through a HP procurve switch, have successive IP’s, identical subnet masks, firewalls set to accept communication over the used port,…

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

rgds,
Brecht.

Ok. I can’t find a solution to this, and apparently no-one else knows what it could be…
Maybe there’s an alternative way to multicast audiostreams from msp to both mac and pc. I hardly believe I’m the first who wants to do this.

I’ve tried Wormhole2 vst plugin, works great but is unicast…
I’ve tried oggcas~ and oggamp~ which works, but has too much delay (5 – 6 secs.) and is no longer available except as demo for some reason (works just fine in max 5).
