I'm looking to turn an unused (but beefy) computer into a windows VST box that can take MIDI through the network and control many x86 win VSTIs.

- bridge the udpsend messages to a virtual MIDI port

- contain and route MIDI to multiple VSTIs both x86 and x64

I have looked into creating the latter with Max but I do not want to spend a great deal of time to build and test a custom VST wrapper/manager environment. I have a feeling VSThost is capable of it from browsing the documentation. Can anyone confirm this or recommend me something they use?
