These objects are based on James McCartney’s external “pulse.” I’ve used
this object a lot and I am guessing some others would use it too.
Fortunately, someone updated pulse for OSX. That version is renamed JMpulse
in this archive for those who want to use it. You’ll have to restore the
original name and rename my new abstraction to something else.

I became worried that the object would not be updated again so I recast it
as an abstraction using standard max objects. The core of it is the tempo
object.

This version should continue to work on future versions of max including
windows right now. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
