Hi, if anyone has a similar issue to this let me know..

its definitely when i build a patch that has a preset, saving works fine, unless there’s a filtergtaph in the same patch, if so – saving a preset causes max to crash. i tried a simple new test patch , few normal everyday objects and a preset obj, working fine, until theres a filtergtaph in there, then preset kills.

maxmsp 6.1.5, macosx 10.8.5, Mac Pro 2x4x293mhz, 16gb ram

hi , seems like it was a flawed install, because after checking older versions MaxMSP 6.1.3, 6.1.4, by reinstalling them, they had no such bugs with the ‘crashing when saving a preset if filtergtaph is in the same patch’ problem.

then when i DL and reinstalled another 6.1.5 installer to double check, everything works fine.

i wonder if there was a silent update from C74 between the first uploaded 6.1.5 and the one thats there now?

I can confirm that it crashes under 6.1.5 in 64 bits mode. The presets bugs have been fixed for the next incremental. Thanks for the report.

ah ok cool, so i was getting a clean – no crash – since i reinstalled 6.1.5 because it looks like my install defaulted to 32bit mode and i hadn’t noticed.

ok version 6.1.4 also crashes here when in 64 bit mode
