New touch sensitive pad controller for max! MIDI + OSC

November 18, 2011 | 12:44 am

Hey guys, this thing looks like it will be insanely useful so I wanted to pass the link around.

It’s like a Korg padKontrol or a Novation Launchpad but with continuous XYZ and velocity on every pad. It’s even got touch sensitive sliders!

For it to become a reality they need your help via kickstarter… I know I want one! Even $1 helps so I thought I would share here. Thanks and pass it on!

Looks like it will be very interesting . . . And Max friendly, wonder if it’s 6-native . . .
Will probably get one to join my other KMI goodies . . .
Cheers

3D touch is the new horizon.

Google "touchco amazon" to see why market forces are still a negative force in creative interaction design.

(sorry, thread hijack, soapbox crumbling under my weight)

Does it have OSC support ? I only noticed the Midi mention.

EDIT:

I meant is it limited to 127 stepped pressure sensitive pads ?

Hi guys,
Sorry I didn’t notice all the replies for awhile! I’m back :)
First, to jln, it will have OSC support.

Second, the kickstarter campaign is ending in less than 2 days – so last chance to get some crazy limited edition early unit or more and it’s super cheap. Got a bunch of nifty demo videos up now too – it’s sequencing like a monome, it’s controlling fx in ableton, and it’s vj-ing live video in Isadora. Bet it’ll do cool things in jitter too. Anyway, here’s the link again:

Thanks,
