I am a new member of this forum and a new user of MAX MSP V5.
Some members communicate their patch in a text format in forum’s post. I’d like to use some of these for learning purposes but I don’t how. Is this v4 feature ? in v5 patch can be display as a Json format, any tools to convert them ?

If so, copy the text from the forum, open a blank patch in Max and just paste right in there. The text will show up converted into a Max patch.

You can copy both text formats into Max5 and they will show up fine. (You cannot copy Max5 text into Max4 but you are using Max5 so this is not a problem for you.)

there is however a converter floating around, written in supercollider by frederick olofsson.
try googling that. people reportedly had success, but of course it can´t reproduce features, whoch weren´t present in max4 like presentation mode.
