newbie question

Hi :) i’m trying to open a mini dv cam in jitter…i’m using a pc and a
canon mv800 i know i have to use jit.dx.grab but i can’t seem to find a way
to open it……

jit.qt.grab, jit.dx.grab is for windows

that’s not the point, i’m already using the suckah object…the question is
for instance i know that red in rgb values is 255, 0, 0 …………..but
the way i have to tell jit.finbounds the color that i want to use is
different i can’t use like 250, 0, 0 i have to use floating numbers…i
think in the case of red it would be 1.0, 0.0, 0.0 ………………..but
if i want an orange instead ??? …
