While quite familiar with Cubase and Sonar and Max, I am new to Live. I purchased Live 9 Standard this year. Now I want to port a Max design to be an instrument in Max for Live. The Max design has pattrstorage and preset objects, but I cant for the earth of me figure out how to open it as an instrument. Do I need to put it in some folder? Do I need to modify the I/O?

Wait, I found a user manual chapter, following instructions...

And it appears I need to purchase Max for Live as well, or possibly use the reWire interface, as Max no longer works as a VST client, sorry for the self-directed conversation.

Well I did purchase Max for Live out of curiosity anyway, so I will try to share Live versions of my Max toolbox contributions, thank you for looking.
