I was under the impression that the max 5 upgrade was free to those of us

who purchased the software after October 1st. I downloaded max 5 and

installed it, however when I open it I see the "demo period" screen. I've

been looking around the c74 site to find instructions on how to proceed with

the free upgrade, but haven't found anything yet aside from a blurb about

how it is possible. Am I missing something painfully obvious?

Those who were eligible for the free upgrade will be receiving 

information (an email) on their free upgrade today. If you are eligible 

and do not hear from us today, you will be sorted out in relatively 

Meanwhile, Max 5 has a fully-functional 30-day demo period, so this 

should tide you over while you wait for information on your free upgrade.
