Note "clicking" interruptions…

I’m working on a small additive synth:

Going well, but my problem is that because the MIDI input is simply banging an amplitude envelope on a continually sounding oscillator, if I interrupt the current cycle through the amplitude envelope with a new note, there is a clicking sound due to the sudden discontinuous drop or rise in volume.

How can I avoid this without using polyphony?

Somehow I need the current amplitude value to run smoothly to the new one when noteon is received. Any thoughts?

Are you using adsr~ ?, there are legato and retrigger modes explained in
the help file. Should get you going…
Elsewise send the patch, there are about a zillion ways to create
clicks, and another zillion solutions to avoid them. But as nobody can
know how you manage to create the click, there are only guesses how to
avoid them…
