To get the toggle functionality, I need to know whether an event exists at a specific pitch and time. For example if I hit button four, and there’s an event at step 4, I need to delete it. Otherwise I need to create a new event at that step.

Is there any way to detect whether there’s an event in a specified place so I can do this?
