Hi Maxers.

I’m helping someone build a patch with the Novation Remote 25.
Unfortunately, I don’t have one here to work with. Does anyone have
the mappings of the controller available? I’ve seen a few posts for
other Novation products, but not a straight up Remote 25.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The controller can be mapped to anything you want using the RemoteSL Template editor. Google it.

I’ve got something you might be able to use as a starting point. It is for the Remote SL Zero but could easily be modified to include the MIDI Keyboard part.

Included are a couple of patches that can be brought in via a [bpatcher] object, an example patch showing how to bring it in with [bpatcher], and a SYX file that is uploaded onto the Remote SL. The SYX file sets the CC number for each dial or slider which are sent from the Remote SL to Max.

If you want to take a look, you can get it off of my website:

http://home.lagrange.edu/mturner/

Look under the “max msp stuff” link at the top.

Hope this helps out,

Thanks for your replies.

As it turns out I won’t be using it for this project after all, but
these are great resources. I’ll check them out next time this issue
rears its head.

Thanks again.
