Hi, I'm trying to work out something that seems like it should be fairly straightforward. I essentially have the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and 8 being inputted from an external, user controlled source. For the rest of my patch to function properly, each number should only be able to be sent once, and the count should reset to 0 (so the next user can press 1) after number 8 is sent.

I tried using [if $i1 > $i2 then $i1], but this makes it difficult to compare the new value to the previous value. Does anyone know of an easier workaround?
