						<p>I think I found the solution to my problem.  </p>
<p><b>The problem:</b> when making a <i>delay</i> object the object would sometimes not instantiate.  </p>
<p><b>The solution:</b> I found a couple of maxpat&#8217;s that were also named <i>delay</i>.  These maxpat&#8217;s were in the cycling74 folder.  When I renamed them the problem seemed to go away.  We shall see.  </p>
