one-off search path

one-off search path

I’m so convinced I read somewhere that you can specify a one-off search path that would be used if you were sharing a patch which accessed a local folder on a cdrom e.g.
… i just cannot find the text again in any of the manuals !!!

I do not mean the file prefs, nor do I refer to standalones etc

It is for cases where you may have a patch which draws on other resources (maybe through bpatching, or graphics etc) – the important thing is to be able to hide the secondary files in a folder – but not get into collectives etc

I’m sure I read that this was possible – and yes I have read the manuals – it would require the ‘main’ patch to specify the additional unique search path at load

anyone ….?

A very recent topic “managing multiple patches” contains some suggestions.
