is there any bulletproof method for canverting a max path to a string usable by the File class constructor? I almost had it down with regexps… but I’m not sure about alternative hard drives.

com.cycling74.max.MaxSystem.maxPathToNativePath()

The class has methods for various kinds of path format munging.
