i need a disc shape i have a patch that draws coloured circles from the middle of the screen radiating outwards, at the moment i am using torus' (probably tori would be the plural :)

this has a big impact on performance as i am drawing heaps at once i know glu has a quadric disc but i dont think max implements it, anyone know where i can get my hands on one?
