My problem is that all patches that I copyCompress or download get saved as Max5 patches… even if I go to properties and try to change the “opens with” option (i.e. navigate to Max6, Windows doesent reqognize the change and still the “Type of file” is : Max 5 Patcher (.maxpat)

I am using Windows 7 64

Is this a known problem with Max 5/6 (when both are installed) or is this a problem with Windows7 ?

Not sure what the problem is?

I guess it is a windows problem, that I can´t change the type of file in properties
